"Britney"
Después de dos grandiosos albums, Britney se arriesga en su tercero, moviendose dentro del hip-hop influenciando al pop. Su primer single, "I'm A Slave 4 U," contiene una esparcida producción de Neptunes, y reflejada a Britney personalmente. Por primera vez, ella ha escrito algunas de las canciones en este disco, trabajando junto a Brian Kierulf y Josh Schwartz, como también Max Martin y Rami, quienes crearon el pop pegajoso de sus debuts. También se encuentran algunos soundtracks de su primera película, "Crossroads," unas de las canciones que se incluyeron en el film, fueron "Overprotected" y "I Love Rock 'N' Roll." "Britney" fue el trabajo mas personal de Britney para la fecha y le marcó una transformación de niña a mujer.
